Craig Hart, Hart Capital Management

Craig Hart has over 25 years of knowledge and experience in the investment business, and is Founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of Hart Capital Management. Prior to founding Hart Capital, Craig was a co-owner and portfolio manager at Hart & Associates. Craig also founded one of the first performance-based securities investment partnerships in the State of Washington. From 1984 to 1990, Craig served as a research analyst with Seattle-based brokerage firms Ragen MacKenzie and Foster & Marshall. In addition to the Connect Northwest board, Craig is on the board of Greater Spokane, Incorporated and is a past member of Charles Schwab & Co. Regional Advisory Council. Craig graduated with a BA from the UW, and is a current member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.

Kevin Cox, CliftonLarsonAllen

Kevin is currently the Partner-in-Charge of the Northwest Tax Department of CliftonLarsonAllen. He has over 17 years experience in the accounting field and dedicates a majority of his time providing unique tax solutions and tax savings opportunities customized to the needs of each client. In addition to the Connect Northwest board, Kevin serves on the board of Associated Industries and the University of Idaho Advisory Board. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Idaho and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of CPAs.

Rick Repp, Whitherspoon Kelley

Rick is a Principal at Witherspoon Kelley, representing business clients ranging from start-ups to public companies. Rick’s practice focuses on assisting clients with raising capital, including private offerings for start-up businesses. He also negotiates mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses, handles regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters, and advises clients on entity formation, shareholder communications and officer and board fiduciary duties. Prior to practicing law, Rick owned and operated a consulting practice providing inventory management services to domestic and international clients. In addition to CNW, Rick chairs the Spokane Habitat for Humanity board, is regional chair of the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, and sits on the board of the Spokane Club. He holds a BA from Cornell University and a JD from the University of Idaho.

John Pariseau, WIN Partners

John is an active angel investor and business advisor in the Inland Northwest. He is currently General Manager of TJF, LP, a family-owned partnership. Prior to that he was General Manager and co-founder of WIN Partners, LLC, an angel fund based in Spokane and focused on supporting emerging companies in the region. John also owns and manages a number of commercial real-estate properties, and serves on the boards of a number of early-stage companies. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Andrew Schultheis, Sterling Bank

Andrew has served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Sterling Financial Corporation and Sterling Bank since May 2011. Prior to joining Sterling, he was a partner at the law firm of Witherspoon Kelley, where he worked with a range of public and private companies, including serving as Sterling’s primary counsel, from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, Andrew practiced at Fenwick & West, a Silicon Valley-based law firm. His clients included emerging growth start-up companies, banks, investment banks, venture capital firms and individual investors. His practice covered a broad array of matters, including corporate, securities and regulatory matters, and he has extensive experience in corporate governance, merger and acquisition transactions and corporate finance transactions. He currently is a director on the boards of Connect Northwest and the Inland Northwest Land Trust. Andrew earned a BA from Whitman College and a JD from the University of Michigan.

Tom Simpson, Spokane Angel Alliance

Tom has 25 years of experience as an investment banker, venture capitalist, angel investor and entrepreneur, and works closely with emerging companies in the Spokane region to achieve growth and profitability. He is President of the Spokane Angel Alliance, and a co-founder of etailz. Previously, he had been Managing Partner of NWVA, and prior to that he was a Managing Director at Dain Bosworth in Seattle. He began his career as a CPA for Deloitte, Haskins + Sells. Tom serves as Co-President of the Mobius Science Center and on the boards of etailz, Berg Manufacturing, GenPrime, Nuvodia, Telect, and the Advisory Board of UW’s Foster School of Business. He has served as an adjunct in Gonzaga’s Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, and holds a BA from the UW, and an MBA from The Wharton School.

Steve Trabun, Avista - Chairman of the Board of Directors

Steve is a Regional Business Manager at Avista, and has over 25 years of multi-functional and executive-level experience in large organizations and start-up environments. In his role, he works closely with municipalities throughout Spokane, Lincoln, and Stevens counties addressing business and public policy issues, focusing on driving economic vitality, and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships within the communities served by Avista. Steve is a proven entrepreneur and has tremendous passion and energy for analyzing the feasibility of new ideas and concepts, and helping to build them into successful ventures. As an extension of his work, Steve serves on a multitude of strategic boards in the Spokane region. He holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Washington State University as well as an MBA from Gonzaga University.

Chip Overstreet

Chip is a serial entrepreneur in high tech, and he currently serves as SVP of Marketing, Business & Corporate Development at MyBuys Inc. His experience in B2B software companies includes e-commerce, internet advertising, marketing automation, SaaS, security and networking software. Chip was previously the VP of Marketing & Business Development at Blue Martini Software (acquired by Golden Gate Capital), CEO of Encover (acquired by Synnex), and CEO at RTIME (acquired by SONY Computer Entertainment). Chip started his career at Oracle Corporation, and he holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Stanford University.
